CHRIS-WINE production is the comprehensive name for our producing & bottling units that today consists of Chateau de Seguin, Villa Bona Terra and CHRIS-WINE bottling!
It all started in 1985 when Erling Carl and his two sons Michael and Gert, all engrossed by a passion for Bordeaux wines and captivated by the charm and the location of Château de Seguin, decided to acquire it to re-create its former nobility and identity.
 Château de Seguin is today one of the largest estates in Entre-deux-Mers and is beautifully situated in hilly surroundings in the region. Since the acquisition we have been working with one aim- to show the wine markets that great wines do not need to cost a fortune!
In line with this aim CHRIS-WINE decided in 1999 to invest in Romania by purchasing Villa Bona Terra. An Italian resounding name reflecting the fruity and easy drinkable wines produced at the estate in the Dealul Mare region. Villa Bona Terra wines have so far been launched in Denmark where they have received high ratings.
Apart from wineries we also have our own bottling plant located in Glostrup, Denmark. This gives us the opportunity within CHRIS-WINE to bottle value for money wines from most of the worlds wine producing regions to a diversified number of clients. |
